Fluidly shut down in 2023. Here's what to use instead

Fluidly was a good product with a hard ending. The digital bank OakNorth acquired it in 2021, and at 5pm on Friday 28 April 2023 the product closed its doors and the tech was folded into the parent bank. If you're searching for it in 2026, that's the short answer: it's gone, and it isn't coming back.

What Fluidly did well, intelligent cashflow forecasting straight off the accounting ledger with bank-level data, is still a real need. Here's where its users went, by the kind of business they run.

If you're an accountant or a service business: Float

Float is the closest like-for-like: cashflow forecasting on live Xero or QuickBooks data, scenario planning, built with accountants in mind. From £99 a month with a 14-day trial, as of September 2026. It's the safe, boring, correct answer for a business with no stock.

If you're a mid-market finance team: Agicap

Agicap is the heavier European option: multi-entity cash management, bank connectivity at scale, sales-led pricing. More tool than a small business needs, which is exactly why larger Fluidly refugees ended up there.

If you run an ecommerce brand that holds stock: Cushion

Here's the thing Fluidly never did, and its replacements above still don't: none of them can see your inventory. For a brand, the next stock order is the biggest number in the forecast, and in every pure cashflow tool it's a manual budget line that goes stale the moment a lead time slips.
